ROUGH CUT RESPONSE
When we showed our rough cut to certain people, we received feedback regarding what was good and what needed improving.
- It is too long.
- Tension is lost towards the end when, in fact, it should be building at that point.
- More sound, both diegetic and non-diegetic.
- Diegetic: Ambience of the shopping mall
- Non-diegetic: Bass drones, little sounds to imply villain has entered etc.
- Some shots were too long, some weren't shown enough.
- It doesn't run all too smoothly (Two parts didn't seem linked).

In order to tackle this feedback, we set some goals. We tried to improve our sequence as best we could by following what was said.
We planned to:
- Cut down the duration of the sequence to a point where it was sensible.
- Faster cuts at the end, and shots to show the villain was following them.
- Use of ambient drones whenever the villain was in shot (This also helped with tension).
- Changed the duration of certain shots.
- Tried to create a strong link through transitions and shots.
We followed these guidelines, and were successful with each idea we had planned to use. This, in turn, enhanced our entire sequence.
